Well the time has finally come. Patch 3.1 is live today and all of us anxious folks are ready to see some new action.

I will be setting up LoA's first attempt at Ulduar on Wed night at 8pm.

Invites are open, but as to not hurt anyones feelings I apologize in advance. We have 10 slots and a lot of people. This is also obviously the new harder raid, meaning gear will be a bit on the important side. So once again I apologize in advance when I say if we have an abundance of folks showing up for this, I will pick folks who I believe will help us have that successful first attempt.

Do not fret though folks. for those of you who are still undergeared I plan on doing my sunday naxx runs still to help out. It is my goal to have everyone who wants to see all the raid content, be able to do so.

For those who do plan on coming, im sure this is something folks have already prepared for. Make sure you have all of your equipment prepared, and not just the kind you wear. Get your new enchants done, regem however is needed, get those consumables ready. We will face Yogg-Saron at our best (id be willing to guess he is the boss in here. Loken sure loved shouting his name).

FOR THE HORDE!

Ulduar is sheer whackiness to start off, then omgwtf nastiness afterwards. Steep learning curve, good for the experimenters and the "so what, it's just a repair bill, let's go again!" crowd and bad for the perpetually broke, "I need a walkthrough script... omg what went wrong? You guys must suck! I quit!" emos. Just pug/run a Vault group and try the new boss for a quick example of that!

I mucked around with Ulduar last night on Demeth to check things out, (after that, a fail-on-new-boss pug H Vault run) playing midnight as usual (which minimizes my potential afk time, it's amazing what putting the family to bed can do for your game). I'm not sure what my schedule will be like this week, hosting my sister's bridal shower and I have two school events for the kid and I have another 20+ miler training run (that'll eat a chunk of your day) as well. I can't really commit to anything earlier, cause I just don't know...

I might be sorted out on my specs and Glyphs and professions. Somewhat. Maybe. Patches are hard!

Flame Leviathan is a fun fight, interesting idea and pretty well done. After FL things do get a bit hairy for sure, definitely a step above Malygos and more on par with Sarth+2 or Sarth+3. Give it a run, it's a gorgeous instance and fun.

Ulduar was fail tonight, but that's because of an uber buggy server. The bit of Ulduar that we did do was alot of fun however. Looking forward to when it's much more stable!

I'm looking forward to trying it again. =) Had fun even with everything that was going on with the server.

Sorry I missed last night. It was my father's birthday and things took a little longer than expected. I should be on tonight if there is a repeat attempt and Viral is needed.

What area is the main focus? Tankspot has a couple of the encounters up already and I have been looking them over.

Best of luck with Emalon (fun fight, tho I only did the 10m version) and Ulduar! I know y'all will get it all figured out and be stomping baddies in no time. :)

/derail on

I've been very busy lately; basically trying to do more RL stuff and play WoW less. When I have been playing, I've been on Stormrage finishing the leveling on my druid (with and without Hawk's hunter) and talking with some good friends that play there. I blame all the "OMG where have you been?!" tells I got when I logged on to make sure I didn't have any mail timing out. >.>

I haven't been around Lothar much since hitting 80, as I burned myself out a little in that race. I may donate a bunch of stuff to the guildbank soon-ish™; better for someone in LOA to make use of it than to have it rotting away in my bank. It just depends on whether I decide to keep playing and how I plan on splitting up my time if I do.
