I'm designing a business card and I want a drawing of just a dog's nose sticking out from the side of the card. I thought that would be different and cute. Any takers?

Like which way? Profile shot? Front shot?
Use google image search, here, and pick an image that best matches what you are talking about:

Ok, find a photo. I can maybe use that to create something vector-based or high res rasterized photo.

If you actually want a cut out of the dog's nose sticking out of the side of the card, be prepared to spend some real money. You'll likely need to get a custom die cut created from a printer that does this (so using the budget printers online like overnightprints.com or vistaprint.com wouldn't work). Also, I wouldn't think you would want to add extra size to the width as this could make it unwieldy on the recipient which would likely increase the chance of it being filed straight to the trash bin. So if you do decide to move forward with a die, try to keep the total width the same size as a normal card (3.5 inches)
My advice would be to work it into the design on a typical rectangle 3.5 x 2 card template.

No, I just want a line drawing or a faded picture of the nose behind the existing print on the card.
