Wireless Power Transfer

Sounds interesting. (http://www.flixxy.com/wireless-power-transfer.htm) I don't see it working on a grand scale like they briefly mention in the video though.

I can't see something sending enough power wirelessly to power a TV, even if it is an LCD, unless they lower the power requirements tremendously. They are worried about cell phone signals, and they are only nano watts.

Just think about what damage a signal would do to the human body that was sent through your bedroom that consisted of watts. Nope, I don't think so.

Any time I see anything about wireless energy transfer I always think about that series of GI JOE episodes in which that had that energy transfer machine that would send "energy" from a satellite to the mobile ground receiver (or somesuch).... which reminds me that it all feels awfully fictional...
