Morri spent a day or two building the new PC's which are super smokin'

For the casual gamer and a price tag of about 900 each I think they're awesome. 3d Mark scores pushing about 8k or so. Without shelling out tons of cash and triple SLI, etc... we're not going to get to the top end systems I saw rated out there which came in around 14k

Anyway - the point of this post is this:

While I was setting up my old PC to transfer out some files and make sure nothing is lost forever, a large chunk of aluminum fell out from somewhere.

So ... there's a heatsink that had fallen off at some point and may explain why there were some heat and performance issues over the last few months.

Still not sure where exactly it goes...

Heatsinks without fans would be either the videocard or the northbridge of the motherboard (a chip on the MB down and usually to the right of the processor next to or below the memory slots).

It used to be a beercan and melted down from you lookin at so much porn... that will teach ya not to set your beer on your PC to free up a hand...
