Just open to download today on XBox Live. Very cool, but they didn't have enough servers, this is good. They didn't over compensate, push the game, or over hype this. They are currently adding new servers, so there can be a long wait to join atm, weird they only have a quick match option. My buddy and me played for about 2 hours, had a blast. Though I still don't like an actual health bar, per sey. If I shoot you in the chest with a M1 Garand, you fall.....but all in all, fun Multiplayer FPS.

FYI, this is online multiplayer only, with the only exclusion being the tutorial.

I downloaded the trial and went through the tutorial and enjoyed it but when I tired to join a quick match no luck. Before I decide whether or not to purchase the full version I need to play online to see how it is. Going to try again later this evening and see how it goes.

You should have no problems now. Me and 4 friends all formed a squad and got into games immediately. They have already added more servers.

Couple early things:

1. I am very amazed of the graphics, look, and feel of this game seeing that it is a download only to console.

2. I like little things for realism. They lose me in the fact that it takes too many shots to kill someone some times, but the fact I can shoot down the air raid planes. I love that.

All in all this is very fun, and a nice change to COD. I like that I can fly a mustang, drive machine gun rigged jeeps, tanks, boats with weapons, AA guns from land or aircraft carriers. Very fun, especially if you have friends with you.

They did an update yesterday. Seems they added 1 or 2 more servers then, with more to come. Had a squad, group of friends in a party, of 4 myself and another friend had 4 others. All 8 of us got into the same game after maybe three attempts.

FYI, if you have a friend who, "joins session in progress", when they nter your game invite the to "Join Party and Game", on your XBox console screen. If they are on your team you will both be put into the same squad, even if they are on the other team, and there is room on your team.

Game is very nice. Looks great, rather fun to play. All the options you have with the Planes, Tanks, Jeeps, Air Raid Control, Boats, AA Guns, your experience can be different.

Here's some coolness:

The maps are very cool. Everyone comments that they like them all, no one complains about any of them. They are very balanced.


Planes - Very cool flight, machine guns, you can drop bombs, rather accurate flight and landing, though you don't need anyroom to take off.

Jeeps - Realistic driving. Unlike many games, you can not drive up the side of a cliff, mounted machine guns, up to three people in one jeep at once.

Tanks - Of course regular cannon, driver controled machine gun, and a mounted machine gun on top. 2 players at once.

Boats - can hold up to 4 or 6, can't remember atm. Has a mounted machine gun, nice driving, you can snipe from the boats :)

AA Guns - VERY accurate. You reall have to be good at leading the planes or your going to be useles on this gun. These can not only be used to shoot down regular planes, you can also shoot down the air raids :)

Air Raid Controls - Very nice. Bombers being so large have very limited "quick" movement. That is very obvious in-game. You need to be quick in deciding on your target, move there quick, change to target controls and drop the carpet bomb.

Every vehicle has first person, and third person views options.
Enviroment is destructible.

3 classes:

Rifelman - Long Range, semi-auto rifle, grenades, rifle grenades, bayonet for melee

Infantry - Close range, automatice weapon, anti tank rocket launcher, wrench for vehicle repair

Scout - My favorite, THE SNIPER. Bolt Action sniper rifle, pistol, satchel charges, sword/knife for melee The Rifle, requires some practice and skill, leading a target can be difficult. This isn't COD4 on PC where leading is non-existant and unrealistic. With a little practice, you can be sniping people out of jeeps :) My favorite thing to do.


Cons:

Can't go into prone position. This would be very helpful for snipers.
The throwing items, grenades and satchel charges are a little clumbsy, though I guess they should be.

Honestly the prone thing is the biggest gripe I have.

There is an occaisional video bug that causes you to see the programmed paths extending from the end of the gun as a balck and white static bar, though this is rare.

There are occaisional lockups too, though rare also.
