OK - so I decided Roland has died by the time Superhero stuff has come out. He was only really alive during fantasy / medieval type games.
So, I played around with a few redesigned characters. I am still not happy with the fact that the costumes look AMAZING when you create them, but when I log into the character the colors do not seem the same at all. For example, I tried making a goth woman type with black and purples and blue - and they all seemed to blend together (I don't mean dark blue and dark purple with black - I mean the lighter colors of blue and purple).
Anyway, already got my test character to level 4, and created two more concept toons. My wife is playing right now. She is just like me - spending hours on the actual costume design. :) Yeah, therer is THAT many choices...which is what I like as part of the MMO experience.
I might actually be convinced to pick myself up a copy of this - and end my WARHAMMER account. It is somewhat "growing" on me. The graphics are not as realistic as I would like - but then I have to remember, this whole genre is comic book style - so the scenery actually fits the genre perfectly.
NOW...my three characters...First my main and two alts - with "character storyline" posted below:
Electrolite (main) - dps (melee first then ranged)
Born of Noble birth, Electrolite trained in the arts of Blade and Nature. She uses the powers of Sword and Lightning to quickly eliminate those who oppose her. Torn asunder by civil war from her homeland, she remains neutral in her dealings with others. Often she will do what is necessary to do what is right - even if it means assassinating allies for the greater good.
(alignment concept : Neutral).
Starting Abilities / Powers:
--Martial Arts, Dual Blade
--Chain Lightning
Combat concept: power up through Melee, then finish off or attack groups of mobs with range.
Necro Bot - ranged dps
Do whatever you need to survive, even at the sacrifice of others. Necro Bot was badly burned in The Great Cataclysm of his home planet. He sirvived due to modern technology - though against his will. He harnessed the powers of Darkness and Force for his survival. Anyone who threatens his existence will need to be reckoned with!
NOTE: ANTI-HERO TYPE
Starting powers:
--Shadow Bolt
-- Force Blast
Draco Techno - ranged dps + melee
The leaders of an ancient culture learned to adapt and integrate modern technology with the Way of the Draconians. Draco Techno wields the ancient powers of Fire and Sorcery, and eventually uses his great talons to finish off those who stand in his way. Loyal to ancient traditions and culture, he seeks ways to uphold law and order in society. However, as those of the ancient ways taught him, he cares not of universal rifts between good and evil.
(alignment concept : lawful neutral)

Starting powers: fire, sorcery... OR I might change this to fire, fist (for the viper talons) and add sorcery later.
