Here is a thread with a character builder link for those who want to tinker with ideas outside the game or are not in beta. I always find these are nice tools to get an idea of what is possible. For me it give me an idea of all the powers available that are not on the main site or wiki's yet.

Imagine my first character will be some sort of super reflexes gun nut, but with so many options, I'll likely start and abandon a 30 characters:)

Wish I'd tried to get into beta, I'd end up paying for the 6 month plan just for the extra character slots.

My info is only from forum threads so forgive any errors......

The one shocking thing is tying a WHOLE lot of your characters concept to costume parts you have to find in the game. I suppose they want a loot system, but if you want to create a 2 gun wielder that uses civil war era pistols, that is sort of part of your characters concept and history. Not something to tack on at level 32 when you finally luck into the right costume piece dropping.

Minor nitpick, maybe not even true.

how many extra character slots do you get for the 6 months subscription?

I was wrong, the lifetime sub gives you 8 extra characters slots. The 6 month sub only gives you star trek beta and a costume piece or two.

Lifetime subs way to much for me to plunk down on a game I may not like enough to play a year from now. Gotta make the decision before Sept 1 I think.

Ok...so the lifetime subscription gives you a total of 16 characters?

Great Find! I am looking into a all out PSi Hero, with the healing abilities. My only problem is the skills for this one are all so cool sounding I can decide lol.

I'll wait until they have a web version.
