I think the creativity part of my brain has atrophied greatly.

Back when we did pen and paper games, when I ran the White Wolf Storyteller system, D&D a made up D20 game of my own, we had a revolving group of dungeon masters(so everyone got to play). Everyone fought over me to run their games, for my style of running games that made them feel they were part of the worlds.

I swear, despite being around computer rpgs and such since then, they have done all my imagination for me or something.

Today I suck. I can't even think of a story for my own characters, sometimes even a name is hard to come up with!

Need some help:)

So, I think I want to be munitions, trying to stick with dual pistols as much as possible, but I know I'll have to branch out, so many power choices.

Character I think will be named: Tin Star

Description: average height, average to wiry build robot concept. Dual western holsters, 10 gallon hat, vest six guns or something if I ever get the costume part. Being a robot, I can branch out into other powers like force or something to add utility and defense, rather than going for non concept guns like assaults rifles and rocket launchers.

Story is my problem, best my dead imagination can come up with is my creator was a kindly old fellow who watched old westerns a lot and had shelves of Louis L'Amour novels. He nicknamed me Tin Star. Tin Star's only experience with the world was the movies and the novels of his creator. Dunno what shoved him out into the world but out of some sort of respect to his creator he's keeping the trappings of his fathers love of old westerns as he fights crime, blah blah.

Yeh I'm wasting some time thinking, you lucky guys are playing!

edited: be damned, did a quick google to make sure Tin Star wasn't a marvel character and it referred me to some zone in Champions full of western theme robots....that concept is shot.

Let me try a back story for you...

As an experiment, "Tin Star" was one of the first cyborg synthetic Western Entertainers. He enjoyed it as a hobby and enjoyed the crowd's amazement at his precise and uncanny abilities. One day a hecklar came by, distracted Tin Star and caused a fatal mistake in one of his shows. As a result, Tin Star put himself into exile, resorting to caring for his creator, helping him read novels about the West in his old age; and keeping him company watching old westerns - until recently. Tin Star heard his creator being beaten by VIPER agents. Tin Star rushed outside to help combat the evil fiends. Although he did not realize it, Tin Star began taking the first step in becoming a crime fighter.
