This is to anyone that played AoC. I reccomend, and I am sure Val, Ceafo, and others will agree that you try this game out again. It has been greatly improved. No crashes, clases work, new areas, tons of more quests, PvP is better, though at lower levels still empty.

Graphics amazing.

Ceafo, others, post here let them know....

The hype I put for this game is now visible.

I know Landro is our local cheerleader (at least thats what I call him :diablotin:) standing atop the pyramid shouting how uber all the games he plays is but the fact is that this game has improved dramatically.

For me the game no longer crashes and I have experienced very few bugs if any. Only reason why I use the word any is because no MMO is bug free but I don't recall any since I have been back.

They revamped the feat system for the better and added an entirely new zone for mid 50's which they needed badly. Funcom also revamped the more popular dungeons like Black Castle, Pyramids, Ancient Treasure Room, and a couple others I cant recall at the moment and made them more fun and dynamic.

All in all I'm having more fun now than I did when the game first came out.

Oh...I forgot. I will not be coming back.

I spent a lot of time on the offical AoC boards and got banned a few months before I stopped playing due to voicing my concerns and opinion....sure some of them happened to be harsh...but true. (true enough as I see by the patch notes as they address EVERY issue I had with the game)

I may consider it if I get bored with other games I am playing or am going to play.

One of the biggest issues I had was how under-powered the assassin was at release. I loved the way the assassin "felt" but stopped playing it because I was dieing left and right on encounters other classes could go through with full health.

Is the assassin better now? And have they fixed the issue with female assassin attack animations being slower than males, which meant less damage?

Shinzou the assassin is working perfectly. That means, yes it deals out massive amounts of damage, but he's still a squishy (as he is menat to be). You must rely on stealth, strategy, and timing to be effective. It's honestly one of the hardest classes in the game to play. They can easily out DPS anything in a group, if you know what you are doing.
