Ok, I can't put the controller down. It went dead long enough for me to post this :).

This game is absolutely FUN! I am about half way through the singleplayer and I have yet to get that, this is getting old feeling. The AI, even on casual difficulty is stunning. A lot of the time you think you are playing another person. An example, a mage on the evil side will be burning NPCs down with fire and lightning bolts and just when you think you are going to pound him with arrows, you draw back your bow, FIRE!, and the bastard cast his defensive "shell" blocking your shots at the last second!

The online Multiplayer, XBox Live, is just action, non-stop! The maps are huge, the archers have a range like you wouldn't believe. I play a scout a lot, it works like the burg in LOTRO, so I am rather good with it off the bat.

The multiplayer actually requires skill, thinking, strategic teamwork, along with luck, unlike most PVP setups for games like this. It's 8 v 8 and nothing is really "overpowered." People complain about archers, but they are shooting flaming arrows at your skull, lol.

Again though the skill part is what I like. Scout for an example, you can sneak up on 3 people, cloaked, and one-shot backstab them all, or cloak and sneak up on one who knows what he is doing and have a great battle on your hands. Graphics are very nice. Getting to see these fabled areas in HD is just cool.

Do you still die if you touch water at all?

No, it's not even close to what the demo was. All the bugs and weirdness of the demo do not exist. The difference is I HATE SINGLE PLAYER MODE in nearly every game...that's why I don't make it long if I have to solo 99% of everythign in a MMO. I like to be part of a social group and enjoy games with others....that includes my bed :)....

The single player in this is just as fun as Fable 2, Fallout 3, GoW2....A ton of action....

LOTR + Battlefront + Enhanced Graphics + L4D Zombies Hordes + A very Good AI = LOTR: Conquest.

I have had a chance to play and have to say it's fun. I like the way the battles take me through the story. It's not exact of course but it is only a game after all. There are two things I dont like, the camera angle is not fixed which I prefer and that dude/narrator. I HATE his voice and I just want to choke him out.

As for the game being as fun as Fable 2.....for me (my oppinion) it doesnt even come close.

All in all I really like the game and will play it through to the end and see what multiplayer action is like and have fun with it. Oh...and the AI is pretty damn good.
