View Full Version : XBOX DLCs/Updates

For those who play games on XBox here are some of the "coming soon" DLC updates for some great games on XBox.

1. Fallout 3 - getting an entire new, huge, area with all the goodies along with it.

2. Team Fortress 2 - Getting every update and change that has been made to PC. Basically making it exactly like the PC version.

3. Left 4 Dead - Adding new campaigns, opening more to versus, and glitch/hack proofing.

4. Fable 2 - Knotthole Island - this one is already released.

5. Gears of War 2 - already has 2 DLCs out and another to come adding maps/items


Not sure if this will be on server side or a download update, but Call of Duty: World at War is to get a patch this week, I think, to fix all the glitches that are being reported and will then give double exp for a short period of time to make up for teh downtime.

DownLoadable ContentFigures it isn't something that makes sense from Xbox. :p

If it's Downloadable Content, it should be DlC.

Or is it Down Loadable Content? :D

Landro...you just made my day...love L4D but it was over so quick...any idea on a timetable for it and cost range? Also...as a new owner of Fallout3 for 30 bucks from a friend...excellent..::rubs hands together:: And TF2, go Orange Box! Ideas on prices for all of them would be nice, so I can figure it..heh

And if anyone wants to pal around on Live, I'm under Wulffromabove

Mord, no "set" dates yet, but the TF2 one was supposed to be Christmas last year, but they were able to get L4D out quick so they halted it. From what I am getting it appears TF2 and L4D will be sometime in February, I hope. They are wanting to do L4D and TF2 at same time. This is my one negative with XBox Live. Valve wanted the updates to be FREE, but XBox wants it to cost points. Valve is pushing to make it as LOW COST as possible.

With Fallout 3, llooks to be Around March. They have stated they want all the updates first quarter since there are an a$$-load of games coming out 2nd quarter.

I will say the Fallout 3 one will probably bee at least 800 points if not 1200.
