Not so much a recipe as an assist or new ingredient....
Put 5-6 Fresh, peeled Garlic cloves in a saucepan, cover them in milk.
Simmer the milk on a low heat for 10 - 15 minutes covered, do not boil the milk.
Once the garlic is soft, pull them out of the milk.
Now the garlic once cooked in milk is very smooth and the acrid bite of the garlic is gone, so it's good to eat as a side to your meat and veges etc. EG: Put a slice on your fork with your meat.......
The milk is best used for making mashed potatoes. It makes a fantastic Garlic mash.....light and fluffy with no chunks. It's also great in a cream sauce for pastas etc.
