alrighty... i have BFBC:2 installed as well as punkbuster. i even reinstalled punkbuster to make sure, but for some reason when i go to log into a server w/PB on it keeps saying that i need to have it installed and running in order to join that server.

anyone sugestions?

What is your OS?

Do you use a anti virus?

Did you try manually updated punkbuster?

Punkbuster doesnt play well with security stuff at times...

1. Make sure you are running BC2 as admin.
2. Make sure AVG isnt preventing PB in some way
3. Launch BC2 and go to options>settings>gameplay...and make sure allow punkbuster is checked.

how do i run BC2 as admin... i cant find anything that is an option to not

I believe with XP you can right click on the launcher and go to options...there should be a check box to run as admin somewhere in there.
