In looking for some new music, some things really hit me as good, other things not so much.
Band of Skulls made their way on to my MP3 player very quickly. One of the singers (Russell Marsden) has a bluesy but not too much rock quality that is fun to listen to, almost makes me want to sing along. Except I can't sing and don't want to insult them. Emma Richardson also sings making a good mix of similar but different -a smokey and natural voice that seems to come easy for her.
A mix of blues and rock tossed lightly with Indie makes for some unique music that you just don't hear all the time.
