Okay, I found all about it. I re-activated my account and sent the refer a friend key and will get her setup this evening. Then, I'll apply her retail key. This is groovy... cuz I will then get a free month plus all the other perks.

I need to remember that it is faster to download the entire WoW client than to install and update.

It will probably take an hour or two to download the updated 4gb client, but the patching process took all day yesterday.

So, is this still an official chapter?

Yes - but with provisions for friends (time to get to know us before appliation) and family (especially our kids who we want tags on their heads to keep the /ginvite crowd down). As an example, my 12 year old isn't guild-ready, doesn't speak in guild chat mostly just solo's (which is good because he's horrible at playing his death knight) but we have him tagged to help shelter him.

Dorothy and I did a test run this afternoon. Got to level three, just getting her used to moving around.

My daughter, Cynthia(7), created an undead character named Cindyboo... she had a blast just exploring. I was runnng around trying to keep uip with her.

Good times.

Note: I'm not ready to introduce Dorothy to my guild world. I was just asking.
