For those that play, he new maps are coming in March.

More importantly though there is a new Makin map ready now for download. It's a daylight version of the map. It's a multiplayer map. PLUS IT'S FREE!

Unfortunately no you can't. This is where other games like L4D, Resistance 2 and I think even Hawx got it right. I hope that with the next CoD: Modern Warfare 2 they add that.

Also to decide which to play, is up to you. WaW as you know is WWII again, but it is MUCH more realistic and true to the era then most other WWII games. The guns are right on and the environment is very nice. COD4 is still what it is, one of the best, but is still full of those noobs that stand in corners with a P90 and camp like that. Plus COD4 requires less skill, since it's so easy to pray n spray on 4.

I would say for the best all around challenge go with World at War, but in WaW it takes forever to rank to 65, so prestiging in it blows.

I prestiged once for the hell of it, got to love a 0 point achievement, but won't be doing it twice. You'd have to play it pretty non-stop to hit level 10 prestige.

I agree that it is more challenging then COD4 and from what I've read have actually sold twice as many copies, so you may as well go with what is current and what the majority of people are playing. I don't think many people realize they also stole some cool ideas from Halo. They added competitive co-op and have very deteiled statistical integration with callofduty.com, much like halo with bungie.net. The zombie game also adds a new twist worth trying out.

I plan on going back and redoing the cod4 campaign on veteran, just haven't gotten around to it.
