How much gold would you be willing to spend to get a Red Proto Drake Mount??? How much gold would you be willing to spend on a repair bill???
How much time would you be willing to spend???
I am starting a group dedicated to completing the Glory of the Hero achievement. I am looking for at least 4 other players who will be as dedicated as myself to accomplishing this achievement and getting the Red Proto Drake Mount.
Requirements:
1. Must be willing to die for this goal:
-- If at first you don't succeed, try try again. If we have made a good attempt at the Maiden of Grief, but our timer has expired, are you willing to wipe to try again?
2. Must be willing to use Ventrilo:
-- Communication is key. Sometimes we have to make a decision at a moment's notice and stopping to type is not the key to completion. I have a Vent server, so all you need is to download the client. Ask me for details if you need them.
3. Must be well geared, know the fights and be willing to do the research:
-- Many achievements will require high dps, high hps, capable tanks, etc. This is not a loot run, and will not be used for getting gear or gearing people up. The better you know the fights and the more research everyone is willing to do the less dying and the quicker we accomplish this goal.
4. Must be willing to sacrifice loot:
--This is not a run to complete Heroics or to acquire loot or badges. While we will get loot, money and badges; that is not what this is about. I would like to see this group also complete the Needy and Greedy achievements while we are at it. This might mean that once several people have completed the Needy achievement and one or two members of the group are still rolling, that those few members will get all the blue and purple loot. This is not about being fair with loot distribution or being greedy for money, etc.....this is ONLY about completing achievements. If you need money or loot, this is not the group for you.
5. Must be flexible:
-- We can make a tentative schedule, but there are a few other achievements that we can work on too based on what the daily regular and daily heoric quests are - Timear Foresees and Proof of Demise. While these quests are not our objective, I believe that they would compliment this group rather than hinder it, so why not complete these achievements too?
Please respond below if you would like to be considered for this group. I will take into consideration your wow-heroes score and gear. I will also be looking at Armory and check out your achievements to see how many heroics you have previously done. Please do not sign up if you haven't been in at least 75% of all the 5 mans...and know that preference will be given to those who have completed all the 5 man heroics. If we get enough people, we can set up two groups to complete this and swap out players based on achievement needs.
And one more thing, please know that this is not about excluding people or being selfish in anyway. It is about completing a goal and acquiring a mount and the prestige and pride associated with it. There is nothing wrong with taking pride in you character and trying to be the best you can be. If you want to respond to this post with a "Yes, count me in!" then great! If you don't have anything good to say, then go start your own thread.
In theory, we could accomplish this task in about a week...two at most.
Who's with me on this???
