Yes, you heard that right. Six months ago my local writing group had a challenge to write a novelette (11-15k words) for the open submissions call for Harlequin's new eBook line- Nocturne Bites. So, I wrote a story. And it was fun. I was embarrassed at first, but hey. If this works out for me it could be my first published story... and it was so much fun that I wouldn't mind doing that again.

I'm keeping my fingers crossed. And laughing at myself at the same time.

Totally. They release 115 titles *per month*... I'd be all about supporting myself by writing. It's nice and quiet, and if there's jerks in your life it's because you created them and can consequently kill them off... LOL. (I need to get out of my current job. Can you tell?;p
