With the announcement of Starcraft 2 and Diablo 3 Blizzard also noted that they'll be making many improvements to the ol Bnet. The first of such has just go into action.

At the moment this is optional, but if you want you can go ahead and create what will be your future WoW/SC/Diablo/Un-named MMO account. Merge any existing accounts into one login and password. From bnet you can manage game subscriptions, online purchases ect ect.

It ... it works. Not sure there's any reason to really do this yet.

Mine works fine as well, I log into wow via my bnet username and pass. Really not needed yet, however it looks like it will be handy in the future. Login into SC or Diablo with the same login, keep track of CD keys. The Bnet page will direct you to the WoW account management page. Not much there, but what is there seems to work well.

One thing to keep in mind, it will allow you to transfer 2 WOW accounts to the BNet login. If you do, it comes up with a warning that you can not share the account once it is transferred. In other words, you can only log onto one WOW account at a time when you do, since both accounts will have the same logon. Not sure how it works because I didn't transfer both of mine. I didn't want to botch my dual boxing ability, or lock out my daughter.

Also, will you be able to play Diablo(x) at the same time someone else in your family plays WOW, if they are on the same account? I'm guessing "NO" since you can't play two WOW accounts on one BNet account.
