I'm not happy or used to how some iPhone things work and was wondering if there was a way to change them.
1 when looking at an email is there any wAy to turn it into an appointment or task?
Is there any way to have it sync particular email folders so that I can find old
Emails on my exchange server other than just the most recent 200?
Mainly I want some way to tie my eMail, contacts, appointments, tasks, etc.

I think you may have to jailbreak the phone to customize it the way you want. I had a friend of mine do mine and overall it was great. Except this week I "bricked" my phone which basically means it didn't work and I could not restore it. After a quick search on Youtube I found a very simple way to fix that.
So what I'm saying is that try it and if you don't like it you can restore it to the way it was when you bought it.
You need a program called Cydia (so I hear)

No idea what jailbreak and bricked mean.
I did get the 200 email limit fixed so that's a good thing.

Jailbreaking (hacking) just gives you the ability to add 3rd party apps to your phone. Some of which are excellent. Do a quick search on it. You tube has many great videos.

Hey Waple, not sure about the turning emails into appointments.
However I recommend Copernic mobile for searching your old emails. You basically install copernic on your computer and copernic mobile. Then it indexes all of the emails on your computer giving you instant search capabilities (its much better thant he built in search in Outlook).
You can then also use the copernic mobile piece to get instant search results on your iphone.
copernic has been one of those "killer programs" that my end users and executives who have 10+ years of emails cannot live without.

I just wanted to stress regarding my last post, that copernic is a "killer desktop program" that simply adds functionality to search all your emails on your iphone. (its not what I would call a killer mobile app...its works though)
The killer part however is the search function that it adds to your desktop. its one of those things that you cant live without once you have.

LOL. Why do you think they call it Jailbreaking? Of course it will void your warranty.
