Getting to know all about you...
Well, I've been an initiate in LOA for a short time now and I've had an opportunity to meet quite a few of you in game. So far, my decision to move servers and join LOA has been reinforced by the warm welcome and good time I've had with all of you so far.
I thought it was high time I hopped on the forums and told you all a little about myself.
Name: Robert
D.O.B.: July 21, 1975
Residence: East Texas
Profession: Software Developer/Teacher
I am currently teaching at Texas State Technical College in Marshall, TX, while my girlfriend, Kellie is attending classes at UT Tyler majoring in Psychology.
I've played computer games and online games for a long time now, going back to old IRC chat room RPGs and even further back for single player stuff.
I'm an avid fan of sci-fi/fantasty and do a fair bit of creative writing, though I prefer to spend my time developing adventures and campaigns for my friends when we gather together to do some pencil and paper roleplay on Saturdays.
I love camping and make it a point to go several times a year. I got my love of camping from my time in the Boy Scouts and still enjoy it to this day. Luckily for me, so does my girlfriend.
One thing you will notice while I'm online, I tend to mix in some sparse Gaelic phrases here and there to keep them fresh in my head. My congratulations and welcomes are almost always in Gaelic.
Anyway, I'm here, until you've had enough of me.
