I think Bhanuch had a good idea, so I'll write a little story about me too!
Name Katie
Names I will respond to: Katie, Kate, Kat, Katherine, and "Hey you RT student" (I'll explain that later...)
Home: Kemptville, Ontario, Canada (near Ottawa On)
So I am 26 and recently got married to Pah (aka Rob) this past septmenber. I graduated as a Respiratory Therapist but during my training a piece of dog kibble at my part time job had other plans for me. I sprained my ankle really badly and after surgery was not able to work as an RT anymore. After a loooong battle with workers comp, I will be heading back to school for Biotechnology Tech. Until then I am a stay at home Mom to two cats and a semi-hairless german shepard (she has allergies).
Pah started me on Wow, cause I wanted something we could play together and it keeps me busy after the laundry and dishes are done. I also love singing, reading, making jewlery, camping and hanging out in the back yard with the dog. Now that the weather is nicer I also go out on my bike a lot. I used to jog, but now I can't cause of the ankle.
As a Canadian, I do say Eh, I can speak french and I do think the beaver is a noble animal...lol (the first 2 are true). I look forward to seeing a lot of you at the camping trip, and yes we will bring Canadian beer! Woot!
Thanks to all that have helped me through some of my firsts and all of you that continue to help me. I really appreciate the guidance and answers to my silly questions. I think I've learned a lot but always willing to listen if there is a better way to do something, so don't hesitate to tell me!
