Can we re-form the guild in Beta?

It would be cool to do some of the content in groups or more.

Can add me to friends list, on Lost Isle server. Toons got renamed:

DK = Pystauph
Mage = Veryannoyed
Goblin Mage = Redundant

My Lost Ilses server toons are:

Savistik (copied) got renamed to Savistick
Gorthin (copied) renamed to Gorthik
And my new goblin priest, Savistak

I noticed that they'll let you create characters on any server, but they limited me to only Lost Ilse for copying my existing toons over.

I copied my rogue and shaman to Lost Isles last night and did my install last night as well. I'll be checking it out when I get home today.

Cool, I get a whole Isle in the expansion! Wonder if they will let me modify it etc I can have Lost Lunch pools, etc etc....

Made a Goblin DK on your server, Problem is, one of the later quests "A Cry For Vengeance!" doesn't have a follow up for Goblins yet (bug reported it). And I can only copy my characters or use templates on the EU server.

Well, if you want to start a Goblin, send one of my characters an email and I'll throw a few hundred gold and some bags to get you started, if you want.

Is it an open beta thing or invitation only? I remember signing up for it.

It's "opt-in for invite" from Blizzard (which is an account setting on Battle.net) meaning if you've opted in, Blizzard will have your account in the pool of possible invite recipients.

There's still plenty of rough edges. My paladin has some critical talents which the trainer won't let him train because of a bug which is pretty annoying. That said, his dps and survivability is still pretty sweet.

Said critcal bug only applies if you have 2 professions trained. Since professions are on hold for now, anyways... might want to consider dropping your gathering skill, which will be easy enough to level up again once they implement a fix on training as well as finally add prefessions to the beta.

I get the feeling the professions may not even be entered in until official release since it's such an easy implementation compared to everything else that they are doing.

Yeah. I'd read that last night after I logged off. I'm figuring I won't really care about tradeskills anyway since that's an awfully tedious way to spend your beta. And there's no point to gathering otherwise since it won't save to Gatherer until they enable addons.

Speaking of which, given that some of my favorite addons are now going to be 2 expansions behind, I think this time I might get into lua scripting since I may need it for work, too.

Anyone got any addons they've always wanted to see? Besides the "Easy" button.

In the ultimate bug, I went to make a report about the talent tree unlearning my paladin talents and found that there's a bug with the bug reporting system so you can't report a bug:
